Over the life of the 5-year grant, $336,000 are budgeted for student employees.  These students help advance the grant’s efforts in four ways.

Mentors

HSI STEM partners with the RAMP program to match mentors to incoming STEM students in the PBLCs.  The grant pays these mentors (and other student helpers) to assist during the Summer Immersion program.

Tutors

HSI STEM partners with the Learning Center to enhance & expand tutoring [link to components page].  The grant assists the Learning Center with student tutor wages.
